Aromatherapy essential oils. Aromatherapy for aches and pains. Julia Walder will use her extensive aromatherapy training to produce bespoke blends for every client to ensure they receive the maximum benefit from the treatment. Whether they are just looking to relax or have specific aches, pains, joint trouble or muscle tightness.

I love to use aromatherapy for aches and pains. So many of my clients, especially the pregnant ones, come along with a variety of difficulties. Using a combination of essential oils and massage I aim to relieve these as best I can.

With Autumn comes beautiful colours but the cooler temperatures and shorter days brings clients with aches and pains. Especially those with underlying conditions, like arthritis and Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Aromatherapy massage, brings all the fabulous benefits of a massage plus the support from the essential oils.

My top three essential oils are:

  • Cinnamon leaf, beautifully warming to the muscles, its scent teases of Christmas and it can light a fire in your belly kicking those autumn blues to the kerb.
  • Neroli, the scent of summer and memories made whilst being magnificent for the nervous system. I often use it in blends for labour due to its potential for easing aches and pains.
  • Grapefruit can be a fabulous oil for boosting the mood, affectionally know as the “party oil” it can also be useful for easing muscles.

To safely maximise the benefits of aromatherapy please consult a trained professional.
