💕 A Little Time for Mum
At the Willow Grace Women’s Wellbeing Hub, we love welcoming mums and babies together.
Our treatment rooms are set up with mats, baby bouncers and toys, so you’re always welcome to bring your little one along. Many of our classes are suitable for babies and some even for toddlers to come to as well.

But we also know that sometimes, it’s good to have some time purely for yourself — to recharge, and enjoy some quiet “me time.”
If a husband, partner, grandparent or friend is coming along too, so baby is close by for feeding, they are welcome to take a seat in our reception area and we can arrange some refreshments.

If they prefer to head somewhere else, here are a few baby and toddler friendly places near Wellington, where they can enjoy a coffee, cake, a stroll, or some gentle time out with the family, while mum enjoys a treatment or class. View our Google Maps list for an easy view and directions.
☕ Cafés We Love
BrickHaus Café, Wellington
Who doesn’t love a spot of LEGO®? BrickHaus is perfect if you’ve got an older child in tow. You can pre-book a build session or simply drop in for coffee and cake. Located in the centre of Wellington (about a mile from the Hub) — walk, catch the bus, or drive and park in the town centre.
Brazier’s Coffee Roasters
The all-day brunch menu is super tasty and refreshingly different from standard café fare. Jen Bolton’s Feeding Group is held here on Thursday mornings.
Situated on the edge of Wellington — best reached by car or bus.
Café Licious
A cosy, friendly café serving hearty breakfasts and all-day brunches — we’re especially fond of the all-day breakfast! Perfect comfort food, especially in those sleep-deprived newborn weeks.
You’ll find it in the centre of Wellington (about a mile away) — easy to walk, bus, or drive and park.
House of Cake
Because who doesn’t love cake? Gorgeous bakes, sweet treats and a laid-back atmosphere make this a lovely place to unwind while mum enjoys her treatment or class.
Also in Wellington town centre — a short walk, bus ride or drive from the Hub.
🌳 For a Breath of Fresh Air
Wellington Park
A beautiful listed park in the heart of town — perfect for a pram walk or a feeding stop. Ducks, flowers and plenty of benches make it a relaxing, easy stroll.
The Basins (off Poole Road)
A peaceful loop around the pond — ideal for buggy walks or a little quiet time with baby.
Play Parks in Wellington
There are lots of different parks in Wellington, perfect if you’ve got an older sibling to entertain.
🌿 A Little Further Afield (Worth the Short Drive)
If you’re happy to head slightly further out of Wellington, these baby- and family-friendly spots are still an easy drive from the Hub and offer plenty to enjoy while mum relaxes.
Rumwell Café
Just outside Taunton, Rumwell is a firm favourite for good reason. The café serves tasty, generous food, there’s an excellent farm shop to browse, and an outdoor play area that’s ideal if you’ve got an older child with you. A great option if you want to make a proper outing of it.
Sheppy’s Cider Farm
A lovely, relaxed spot with a very good café and a dedicated children’s play area. You can enjoy gentle walks through the orchards, with routes of around 20, 40 or 60 minutes depending on how much time and energy you have. You can even picnic in the orchard if you buy one of their picnics — perfect on a sunny day.
Blackdown Garden Centre
A spacious garden centre with a large café and plenty of room for buggies. There’s also an aquatic centre — including puffer fish, which are a personal favourite of Julia’s — making it a lovely calming and engaging stop with little ones.
Willowbrook Nursery & Garden Centre
Another gentle, easy-going option with a café and aquatic displays. Ideal if you’re looking for somewhere relaxed to wander, grab a drink, and keep children entertained without rushing.
